Onion Overgrowth

I walked into my kitchen and I saw an onion that was growing. Days later, I see it on top of a vase (a wtf moment). I found out it was my friend who put it there which led to this over growth of this onion. It’s leaves grows everyday. It acts as our only plant. lol
